PHOTO COLLAGE CREDIT: DEB STEPHENSON I like flowers. I don’t know much about them, but I like them. Except for the most well-known (like a rose), it would be unusual for me to even know the name, but I like them. Some folks have this ability to arrange bouquets that become a piece of art. The colors and the composition draw the eye and the blossoms almost have a light of their own. You and I know someone Who is the Master of flower arrangements. Above are a couple samples of His handiwork. “Stop and smell the roses.” How many times have you heard that? It’s a great thought. We get pretty busy with this and that – day after day. Even though every minute of every day is decorated with blessings from our Heavenly Father, it is way too easy to skip on by while thinking about that next detail in life. The first light of morning opens the door to the colors of the world around us. If you’re like me that first cup of coffee and the planned schedule for the day step in front of the blossoming glow of dawn. There is a chorus of music from the birds as they go along. That music is one of His blessings for us. The laughter of children, the smile of a friend, the flavor of the cookie, a soft and warm breeze against the face .. the list is endless. Even the rich taste of the first cup of coffee is a blessing from Him.
Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Luke 12:27 Thank you, dear Lord Jesus, for answering our greatest need, the need for You and for the Blessing of Salvation that You provide.
In Your Name. Amen. (Enjoy the flowers too. That’s why He gave them to us.) +Pastor Rod Comments are closed.
